Brie Winnega Reamer, Ph.D.

She/her/hers
Brie is a writer, researcher, and nonprofit professional who is passionate about using strategic thinking and storytelling to help organizations thrive. She founded New Leaf Collective in 2023 with the vision of bringing together a collaborative and multidisciplinary team of consultants who shared decision-making power and possessed the expertise to help mission-driven organizations grow. Prior to launching New Leaf Collective, Brie wore many hats as a nonprofit program manager, a writing center program coordinator, and a university instructor. She holds a PhD and MA in English from the University of Texas at Austin and BA in English from University of Michigan. She lives in Austin with her spouse and two dogs, who she thinks are her children.
Samantha Allan, Ph.D.

Sam comes to New Leaf Collective with a rich background in education, grant writing, and consulting. She was a writing consultant across several departments at UT Austin, where she helped students draft funding applications and secure competitive scholarships. She has also served as the Manager of Grants and Stewardship for the Blanton Museum of Art and recently completed two years as a consultant and DEI liaison for the City of Austin. She is passionate about using the power of writing to combat structural barriers and create a better world. Currently an Austin local, she received a PhD in English Literature from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in English from UCLA.
Elisa Sperandio, Ph.D.

Elisa has 9 years of experience in mixed methods research, grant writing, and program evaluation. She has a passion for finding creative and effective ways to translate complex information for new audiences — whether it’s funders, potential clients, local communities, or decision-makers. Elisa joined New Leaf Collective in 2024. She currently also serves as Manager of Training and Project Development in Assessment & Research at the University of Arizona.
Elisa is a proud desert dweller, currently living in Tucson with her husband and 3 cats after moving there in 2019 for graduate school. She holds a PhD in geography from the University of Arizona and a MA in geography from the University of Kentucky.
